Cliched as hell but I purposely push myself to my limits emotionally and physically of late, fuelled through a discovery that insomnia pushes my creative boundaries to dizzying heights!
or in other words, I work best when im at my worst =]

Production Diary Pt.2 - Setbacks

Yay for money issues! After having some issues with the rent I sadly needed to sell my Korg Electribe! To anyone that knows me they know that this is my little baby and the heart of both my production and live sets.
Selling it however may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Altho it means I have now lost the biggest part of my production arsenal I do now have a desktop PC although not one that is currently production ready running with 246mb of ram!
However, once my rent is sorted (As soon as paypal transfers the funds) I plan on upgrading the ram to 2gb. Not ideal but enough to produce stems that can be played out through ableton via the Mac we shall be using for live sets.
So hopefully creativity shalll know no bounds once I start making use of more software during the creative process.

Also managed to get some good riffs on the guitar and some cool sounding chord progressions so I think there is going to certainly be a larger emphasis on my own guitar playing ability in the future,
Because of the setbacks tho I am going to hold off on putting together this EP
Amongst other things I have hit a bit of a creative low point, but not to fear!
Im sure I will hit my mojo again soon!
